For the Rule of Thirds Photo Challenge, we were asked to take a picture of 3 different subjects 2 times (6 pictures in total, 3 sets) and one picture should be following the Rule of Thirds and the other picture should not be following the Rule of Thirds. From this project, I learned that Rule of Thirds is a way of taking photos different than how we normally take so it's more interesting. We normally put the main subject in the middle, but if we follow the Rule of Thirds, we would think of dividing the image using 2 horizontal lines and 2 vertical lines. Rule of Thirds is that off-center composition is more pleasing to the eye and looks more natural than when we put the subject in the middle.
