The image on the left was easy to take since the rock was big but still, the image on the right was harder because I was moving so it was harder to take a better image than the one on the left. Temples were very easy to take a picture of since it was the one standing by itself, they were very big but easier to take. The sun reflected onto the ocean (water) which looks very pretty. The tower/temple building thingy on the right had less people which was easier to take a picture of. The path of the forest is centered and Namsan tower is also centered.
For the Rule of Thirds Photo Challenge, we were asked to take a picture of 3 different subjects 2 times (6 pictures in total, 3 sets) and one picture should be following the Rule of Thirds and the other picture should not be following the Rule of Thirds. From this project, I learned that Rule of Thirds is a way of taking photos different than how we normally take so it's more interesting. We normally put the main subject in the middle, but if we follow the Rule of Thirds, we would think of dividing the image using 2 horizontal lines and 2 vertical lines. Rule of Thirds is that off-center composition is more pleasing to the eye and looks more natural than when we put the subject in the middle. I also learned that Rule of Thirds look more balanced and more engaging. The image I prefer: the image on the left The image I prefer: the image on the left The image I prefer: the image on the right
